Belstaff Our First One Hundred Years Centenary book Product Information

This is a lovely book. When we first heard that Belstaff was working on a history of its first hundred years, our expectations were not high. Unlike Barbour, Belstaff has passed through so many different hands over the years that we assumed that it would not be possible to piece together the company's complicated history.

Well someone has put in a lot of time and effort on this book; and the end result is impressive. Okay, it's a visual history as much as it is a narrative one, but it's no less compelling for that.

This is the history of a truly iconic British brand. And it's a fascinating one. From lowly beginnings in the back streets of Stoke-on-Trent through to fame at the heights of international fashion.

Importantly, of course, the history of Belstaff paints a picture of the history of motorcycling, as it has passed through its various phases and fads.

If you like history, if you like design, if you like style, and if you like motorcycles, then this is a book you need on your coffee table.
