The Segura Funky jacket is made from buffalo hide. Most of the detailing is much as one might expect. You get a removable, thermal liner, CE armour in the elbows and shoulders, a pocket for an optional back protector, side adjusters, zips at the ends of the cuffs, and so on.
This jacket is rated AAA under EN 17092. We were surprised but impressed by this. Triple A rated garments normally imply a trade off in terms of comfort, but that’s not the case here. This is as comfortable and as easy to wear as just about any bike jacket out there. Remove the thermal and the armour, and you would think you were wearing a street jacket.

The leather on this jacket is gorgeous, it has a lovely soft supple feel to it, with a lovely satin sheen to it, less shiny than some of the photos and I think its good for not being so shiny. It has that lovely leather smell too. I have no doubt it will age and wear in beautifully. I would say the sizing is on the small size, I suspect you will need to go one or two sizes up from normal. I wear a Furygan air jacket vest protector underneath so I went for a 3XL, without it I would have chosen a 2XL even though I am chest 42-44 which is XL. All the zips are YKK and good quality and work nicely. There are two useful internal pockets in the mess, and an internal chest phone pocket, in addition to the external pockets. When worn with a t-shirt and no liner, the velcro of the elbow protector pockets can scratch a bit but hopefully that will soft with use. Im really pleased with this jacket and look forward to it ageing gracefullyor not so gracefully with me.

Well made jacket good fit nice flex in arms comfortable for long journeys Quality leather very supple prefer this jacket compared to my Richa Daytona which is a good jacket just not so flexible and comfortable to wear as the Segura one The removable liner is the first thing I remove from my leather jackets so not too concerned about the liner quality Zips are great and also having the snap caps on cuffs make for a good fit on gloves Sum up a Great jacket
CapBadge: Nice but too small
Jacket oozes quality, nice thick leather well put together. I am normally an XL but went on the side of caution and bought an XXL yet still it is too small even with the lining removed.
