Rukka pants | Rukka motorcycle trousers

Rukka-header

Rukka is the Rolls Royce of motorcycle clothing manufacturers; their motorcycle trousers and jackets are ultra high performance, and are designed for the motorcyclist who puts in high mileages, and who rides throughout the year whatever the conditions. Most of Rukka's motorcycle trousers have a laminated construction, where the waterproof membrane is bonded to the trousers' inner and outer layers? This delivers the ultimate in waterproofing, and prevents the pants from ever "wetting out". One downside of laminated garments is the price, as only Gore-Tex does laminating well, and the manufacturing is exceedingly complex. The other downside is that laminated garments tend to be rather stiff, so they are not always the most comfortable to wear. Rukka does, however, also produce some trousers with a traditional drop-liner, and these avoid the downsides of the laminated method of construction.

Rukka Nivala 2.0 trousers in black

Simon: Fantastic

Incredibly comfortable and pairs fantastically with the Nivala jacket. The subtle padding in the seat increases the comfort on the ride. I went out on my S1000xr the other day, 0 temp, I was comfortable and didnt realise that 90 minutes had passed. Expensive but incredibly comfortable.

Rukka Kemi trousers in black

Matthew Bennett: Comfortable and protective

The Rukka Kemi trousers are great. Light and very comfortable with the stretch and likely protective with large armour. Not used in rain yet but expect good things from the laminated layers. I added the braces which improve comfort a lot as otherwise they can sit quite low at the back with braces - no problem. The design of the Rukka braces is good as the novel velcro attachment works well

Rukka Voyage-R trousers in black

ALC: Excellent

Difficult to fault, replacing some 20 year old Rukkas, these are such good quality and fit. Braces definitely worth it, and they do fit easily over Sidi Adventure boots.
