Segura Jayzer jacket review
Published on: 12 April 2020
Segura is a French motorcycle apparel brand. In fact, it was the two Segura brothers who originally set up the Furygan brand. A family dispute caused the two siblings to go their own ways, but that’s another story for another day! This jacket is a little bit different. It’s main design twist talks to some people, but puts others off, which is a shame because it’s a lovely, supple jacket that is incredibly comfortable and easy to wear. The design touch we’re talking about, obviously, is the pleated canvas band that runs down the arms. It’s a bit different, which doesn’t bother us because we like and applaud different. When we first saw the jacket, we were ignorant of what the purpose or rationale was for these green bands, but then it was explained to us that it was meant to be reminiscent of a jacket worn by Hans Solo in Star Wars! Not sure that many people are going to know that or be persuaded by this fact, and it has little bearing on our views. We just like the jacket, and we like the fact that it’s not like every other jacket out there. In fact, the Chap in the Cap likes it because it looks good on his green bike. That’s not an electric bike, by the way. Anyway, to learn more about the details of the jacket you should watch the review because this isn’t just a cool, film-inspired, fashion jacket; it measures up totally as a proper motorcycling jacket. Take a few minutes out to listen to what Chris has to say. If you can, though, try one on. It really is a lovely jacket.
