Lee Parks Leatheraide conditioner Product Information
Lee Parks gloves quite swiftly develop their own, unique patina. With time, they get softer and they look better. But eventually two things can start to happen. The first is that the leather can dry out. Now deerskin is naturally oily, so they are better than most gloves in this respect, but if they get wet, the drying process can start to cause cracking. The other thing that can happen is that the gloves will start to lose their colour. Lee's Leatheraide will help with both of these scenarios.
Before you condition the gloves, make sure you remove any dirt with a damp cloth. Then apply with a clean cloth, working it gently into the leather. Don't use too much! Wipe off the excess, and then buff to a shine.
You will have given your gloves a new lease of life. They will look nicer, and wear better. I hesitate to say this, because people will hold us to to it, but you will also have given the gloves a touch of water repellency. But that doesn't mean that, magically, they will suddenly be waterproof!
