Klim Baja S4 gloves in asphalt Product Information
The Baja S4 is new to Motolegends for 2021, although it is not new for Klim. It is very much off-road oriented, and designed for use only in hot conditions. The chassis is made from a 500 denier stretch micromesh. Laid over the mesh base are panels of perforated leather for extra strength. Across the knuckles you get a large TPU protector that is also vented for extra airflow. On the base of the palm there’s an XRD foam pad for comfort and protection. There’s an extra layer of leather on the palm for abrasion resistance. The forefingers are touchscreen sensitive.

Glen: Really cool gloves...
I wanted a pair of short summer gloves for hot days. My Triumph Scrambler has hand guards which do a good job of deflecting the air from my hands, which is great in cold weather, but not so good in the heat, and my ancient Frank Thomas summer weight gloves were well past their best. After trying several alternatives inshore, I settled on these Klim Bajas as the fit, performance and styling were all pretty much where I wanted to be. The anthracite colourway is the most subdued of the options in my opinion, and makes a good compromise between the modern styling of the glove and my usually more traditionalconservative preferences. Today I rode 150 miles or so on the warmest day of the year so far. The gloves performed exactly how I wanted them to in the heat of the day. As Chris says in his video review, things did get a bit chilly once the sun had gone down, but that was to be expected and is something I will either live with or work around by swapping into one of my warmer pairs of gloves as the temperature drops. I really like the loops for pulling them on. Theres nothing worse than trying to get damp sweaty hands into gloves on a hot day, and the loops make it so much easier to put them on. Fit, for me, is spot on, and the feel for the controls is almost like not wearing any gloves at all. Obviously, these things are always subjective, and they may or may not be as ideal for you as they are for me, but I would definitely reccomend you try a pair.
