Waterproofs for motorcyclists
A set of waterproofs is an essential accessory for all motorcyclists. In truth, we rate the Scotts above anything else that money can buy. In the winter, staying dry is crucial, for all the reasons we have already covered. Feeling wet when it’s cold is not nice, but when that wetness causes us to lose body heat, we are never far from trouble. But don’t ever forget that a waterproof membrane is also a windproof membrane, so whenever we feel cold a waterproof will further combat wind chill, whether it’s raining or not. You should never leave home without a set of waterproofs. They can literally be a life saver.

Scott Ergo Pro DP rain trousers in black
I had an old one piece Frank Thomas waterproof suit that was years old and quite frankly a pain to get in and out of. I finally decided on purchasing the Scott waterproofs and wish I had done so ages ago. I read the reviews and went for the ladies fit simply for the longer leg which for me was the perfect option. My trousers which are so easy to get on with the zip extender at the bottom do no slip above my boots whilst riding. The trousers feel great quality and they sit high up above the waist ensuring that no rain gets in. Very comfortable and no flapping about in the wind. I made my wife throw away her one piece waterproof suit and purchased a full set of Scott waterproofs for her as well. Thats me in the good books for a while! We both love the waterproofs but we do pack them into a crash bar bag out and dont use the supplied storage bag as we found that they can be squashed down a lot smaller on their own. Money well spent to keep dry when we do get caught in the rain
Scott Ergo Pro DP waterproof jacket in hi-vis
I got this to go over my new Marrakesh Jacket. I was wary at first about paying £90 for a waterproof but its unlike any waterproof I have ridden in before. It feels quality and sturdy yet easy to put on over a jacket. So comfortable and stretchy. Sleeves are long and elasticated and easily go over the cuffs of my gloves. Im a convert just need the pants now!
Scott Ergo Pro DP ladies waterproof jacket in black
Bought a full set a few years ago and hoped Id never need them. Got caught in a 300Km long rain storm in France last month. Halvarssons kit started to wet out . Stopped and put both trousers and jacket on and all was good. Totally waterproof and snug almost smug for another few hours of driving rain. OK should have put them on earlier but they are fab. Think the Hi Viz jacket makes more sense than the black that I have. Best value kit out there
