Halvarssons is one our favourite motorcycle clothing brands. The company is Swedish, and they make serious, well designed, high-performance garments for the committed motorcyclist. They make textile trousers, leather trousers and motorcycle jeans, but we are particularly impressed by their textile trousers. They are extremely comfortable to wear, yet typically come with a waterproof membrane. removable thermal liner, CE approved armour, Hi-Art anti-abrasion panelling, and plenty of ventilation openings. For the person who commutes or tours extensively, we think that Halvarssons represents the best possible solution. Only Rukka's laminated products offer any performance advantage, but Rukka's motorcycle trousers are both heavier and stiffer, and so are less comfortable. Rukka's trousers are also much more expensive. Coming from a tannery town, Halvarssons makes some really nice leather trousers. They also do great jeans, and some quite interesting trousers for the adventure, or off-road, rider.

I wish I had bought these a while back. Ive had an old pair of ex police issue Halverson trousers for a while but they started to lose their waterproofing. The trousers are a trim fit which is great, but, the combination of the fit and the slightly industrial knee shin armour made them a bit tight when sitting on the bike, so I switched the armour for the D30 level 2 stuff from Motolegends and they now fit perfectly. I went for the long fit as I have a 33 inseam and they are great paired with my Sidi adv boots and my Astars touring boots. They have been put to good use Marshalling at events in N Scotland last month where we had 2 days in pouring rain for roughly 10 hrs a day, they never let in a drop. 2 bonus points with these trousers The nifty little flapbaffle behind the zip, no more chilly Willy. They zip to my Rukka jkt. Great product, great price, and great service from everyone at Motolegends.

I bought these because I wanted that aged look. They are extremely comfortable out of the box. In fact they are so good I bought the Idre jacket to go with them. The combination offers a great look, and the feeling of top protection, even better than my Belstaff Vanguard! Very happy.

Stephen: Great summer trousers

Bought for my wife for a tour to the Italian lakes. All the ladies jeans appear to be super skinny, and as a lady heading north of 50, not what she wanted. These fit the bill perfectly. Strip out the waterproof ? liner and a lovely pair of summer trousers that allow the breeze through although there are no vents. Lots of pockets is a bonus.
