Waterproof Motorcycle Boots

If it rains hard enough for long enough, your feet are going to get wet when you ride a bike, as will other areas of your body. This is a motorcycling reality. A waterproof membrane liner in a boot will help to keep your feet dry, but it's not a perfect solution, as rain can get in over the top of the boot. Tall boots are usually therefore better at keeping feet dry than are short boots. Wearing your riding pants over, and not-inside, your boots will also help keep the rain out. Boots with laces are not going to be the best when it comes to keeping water out. Lorica may be better than leather, although the best leather boots from somebody like Daytona are treated for water repellancy to keep the rain out. One way of keeping your feet dry is to wear waterproof riding socks. They really work!

Falco Ace boots in black

Nick C: Very comfortable and surprisingly roomy

When I received the box my heart sank for I had ordered a 44 when in boots I usually take a 45. I did not want to go through the drama of returning an item to the other side of the world, so there was nothing for it but to try the damn things on. They looked very smart and not like a motorcycle boot at all, so that was a plus. I made sure I wore a pair of medium thickness socks - not dress-shoe thin, but not super chunky either. To my surprise the fit was almost perfect, with a lot more room for my pretty wide feet than I had initially feared. OK, so maybe I wont return these after all. The next big surprise came when I walked in them. Very, very comfortable. Off came the tags. The next day I decided to break them in by wearing them to the office. No bike yet, just driving to work and wearing them as normal shoes for a couple of days. Absolutely amazing. Like a previous commenter wrote, I happily wore these all day long, forgetting they were even designed to wear riding. Well done, Falco. And thank you Motolegends, for the fast shipping.

Held Alserio GTX boots in black

peter simpson: amazing for the money

These are a fantastic pair of boots that quite frankly are a steal given what a pair of Daytona boots cost. They may not be quite as good but they perform brilliantly in the field, after various trips and a tour of Scotland sometimes in the harshest weather the UK can throw at you they havent ever leaked and get more an more comforatble as you wear them. Extremely well cobstructed with a fantastic sole for grip and comfort. Would highly recommend.
